Marcell Zelei

Marcell Zelei is a young hungarianartist - currently studying art in Vienna - at Die Angewandte.

Some of his drawings are based on carefully selcted details of Budapest´s communist architecture, the artists hometown.

While the drawings may be considered retrospective, they are neither romantic nor shunning the past.

The intention of dealing with "urban loneliness" is an open secret here - the feeling of an unsolved mystery lingers.
